I would print out the Virginia DMV booklet and do the lessons they have there.  They have step by step 30 minute lessons and you don’t get out of the parking lot for the first few.  Have a patient friend go with you.  That way you can get up to speed and get comfortable with the car before you set out in the road. [/quote]
