FAMOUS WOMEN? Are you serious? How about women and girls of all ages and colors and socio-economic status and educational level? Do you even hear yourself?

Women with no money or little money and no anything have to live in this world every damn day and nobody gives a damn how they get by. And they get assaulted, harassed, raped, molested, injured, fired, murdered, etc, everyday. And they are too scared to speak, seek help, are powerless and voiceless, in some cases. So cry me a river for AOC.[/quote]

Uh, ok. I’ll go with your comment. AOC is a public figure and puts herself on social media a lot. She (if we take op’s comment and thread as fact) attracts a lot of weirdos and uses her money to pay for private security, while using her platform and elected office to advocate for the police being defunded. If AOC’s lifestyle was a car, she drives a Cadillac. High risk, high reward, high profile, mo’ money mo’ problems, with great power comes great responsibility, etc.

Meanwhile, the waitress who has a used Ford Focus lifestyle and still attracts creeps and weirdos, who can’t afford private security, still has to live in the world. She has to depend on the cops to “protect” her, which AOC wants gone. Pregnant women are most likely killed my a partner, so it’s not like our used Ford Focus waitress will ever really be safe....depending on her location, she may not be able to own a gun. While AOC’s private security is packing heat to protect her.
