Tell her you don’t want to stop hosting play dates altogether, but that you need her to be available to pick her son up ASAP if at any time he doesn’t follow the rules. Then follow through and put an abrupt end to play dates as soon as he misbehaves, even if it’s only 10 minutes into the play date. Hopefully, he’ll catch on, and if he doesn’t, your friend will find that it’s easier for her to host.[/quote]
