Olympics should be the sports no one watches except for the Olympics (track & field, gymnastics, ice skating, skiing, field hockey, volleyball, swimming, etc.) with the major pro sports (soccer, b-ball, tennis, golf, baseball, hockey) eliminated. People will still watch. [/quote] Sure, 7.5 billion people, some of them will watch. But Coke, Nike, Puma, UBS, etc aren't signing up to be mega sponsors/donors for a niche 4-year competition of obscure athletes who'll get 10 minutes of fame on Twitter. [/quote]
