Men, especially young men, who communicate that level of contempt to others in the guise that they only think logically are almost always dangerous. Jesus.
This is so true unfortunately. People who describe themselves as “pure logic” are almost always mentally ill.
They may have been extremely ill but they/he/whoever wrote that bullshit treatise evince a spectacular contempt for other humans. I don’t think the Unabomber was as cold, off-putting, cruel or creepy as the author of that suicide/homicide scroll.
It has the same self-pitying yet also aggrandizing vibe as an incel manifesto, just a different theme.
Yes. Their sister was so close to getting some taste of freedom and they had to kill her. I’m just disgusted. Imagine her life of having her brothers bonded and watching The Office endlessly and plotting against them all. There is illness, but it’s also repulsive. Girls and women in this country, whatever their families of origin, are acculturated with those important soft skills to have empathy, to understand, essentially to go along to get along in lots of circumstances. I can’t describe how infuriating it is to me that the girl was annihilated before having her own taste of college, her own post-Covid space to breathe and experience that. To the PP who is Indian-American and worried about her brother, I am so sorry. I think engagement is all one can do on one level. This case is maddening in part because that heinous note does indicate that one (both?) of the brothers received care, that the father/elders were involved and didn’t just wish it away. I hope for the best for you.
