I have an allergy to sulfonamides but my rash from the Moderna vaccine was nothing like that. My hives from the sulfa reaction were hot and itchy and all over my body and took a week (plus prescription drugs) to clear, plus I had vomiting, palpitations, and shortness of breath. The Moderna rash was exactly the same faint chest rash that I've sometimes gotten randomly with the flu or colds. I know someone else who had the same reaction and called their doctor and was told it was some T-cell mediated response and would go away and not to worry.[/quote]
