Every single friend I have with a nose ring, over the age of 35, is either bipolar or has some other severe mental health issues. They are still my friends, and I don't reject them because they have a nose ring or are bipolar, but I know of what I speak. Right now my 40 year old bipolar friend a nose ring and multiple piercings is trying to repair her marriage to a felon who just got out of jail for stealing her car during his probation and wrecking it, hurting other on the way.
