1. Have you had her checked for constipation? 2. Why are you putting a pull up on her in the evenings before bedtime? She should change herself into it right before she gets in bed. Otherwise, yes, you are inviting laziness. 3. Have you checked her right before she wakes up to see if she is already wet or do you think she wakes up and pees in her pull up because she doesn't want to get up to go to the bathroom in the morning? 4. Sometimes you just need to wait it out - mine needed a pull up until she was 7. She was a very heavy sleeper and a puddle of pee did not wake her up on the nights we tried without a pull up. We'd sometimes walk in at midnight before we went to bed and she'd be soaked. She needed it until she was physically able to hold it all night. 5. What does her pediatrician say? You've asked, right?
She is not constipated. That is one of the first things her pedi asked/checked. I didn't know they could be related until she explained it to me. I don't put a pull on her per se. She gets her pj's and everything on after bath and we never had an issue with her wetting it when she was awake. We implemented a new rule here where she can only put it on before bed. I do check her when I go to bed about 1.5-2 hrs later and sometimes she is already wet. I know its something that we just need for her to outgrow and I never get upset with her if she wets the bed when she is sleeping. I never expected her to wet her pull up wide awake. There were many times we tried without a pull up but always had to fall back on them for everyone's sanity.
