Compared to the majority of other countries in the world, England is “posh”. The British royalty is still intact, and in general Britains look more put together when they go out in public than the typical American. There are castles and gardens. People are polite and queue for everything in an orderly manner. I’ve lived there, yes I know there are dodgy areas and people of different social classes there, but as a whole, I agree that England is a “posh” place to visit.[/quote]

PP is right about the UK.  Everybody I know there lives in a castle, has a nice garden, religiously watches the daily changing of the guard.  Plus, they sip tea!  How posh can one be?[/quote]
