[/quote] I don't think it's *just* republicans who hate him, because in our state, that certainly wouldn't cost him an election or create a credible threat of a recall. I heard someone say something that made me laugh, it went something like this: Gavin Newsom has managed to do what no other politician in California has been able to do: He's managed to bring together Democrats and Republicans, liberals and conservatives, people of all races and ethnicities and socioeconomic groups, to unite for one goal: and that is to replace Gavin Newsom.[/quote]
