I'm in LA also, and I think lots of reasonable people want to recall him.  I think the recall has picked up steam, which is why he re-allowed outdoor dining (not because covid cases were going down)

I haven’t heard any Democrat is going to be on the ballot against him in the recall. The choices will be Newsom and various GOP candidates, and fringe people. Newsom will win. When he is up for re-election, lots of Dems will run against him. I think some Dems have gotten increasingly progressive and they are alienating other Democrats like myself who are more centrist and not so ideological. [/quote]

Question 1: Shall Gavin Newsom be recalled? (Y/N)

Question 2: Who should replace him?  (Larla Smith, Larlo Jones, Larlita Johnson....)

So it doesn't matter if the field is divided, it's first, if he gets recalled, second, who gets the most votes.[/quote]
