There probably have been a few here or there but they take forever to work through the legal system and aren’t publicized. They also cost a lot upfront for parents who take that route. [/quote]

Instead of bringing a lawsuit on their own, parents can file a complaint with the Department of Labor’s Office of Civil Rights: https://www2.ed.gov/about/offices/list/ocr/complaintprocess.html
