My point is, in my case, even when I did succeeed in stuffing food into him he is still light.  Maybe some kids' body types are just more lean and have high metabolism?[/quote]

My DS was 90th percentile for weight and height around 18mo and our doctor told me to get fat into him for his brain. He's still 90th percentile for height but slimmed to 75th for weight and he eats everything. [/quote]
