Sure, but what's the solution?  Holding other kids back so some kids don't feel bad is a terrible idea.

I'd rather see subject-by-subject tracking than across the board tracking (like AAP).  I don't think kids would take the same hit to their self esteem if they were low in something, but high or at least average in other things.  [/quote]
