OP here. This is good to know, I thought the problem was confined to old town. But it seems like places like Rosemont and Beverly Hills don’t have those issues, do they? And those neighborhoods seem really lovely and a short drive to old town (as I said I want a suburban feel but a quick drive to a downtown).[/quote]

We live in North Ridge/Beverly Hills area and love it. I think people hate on ACPS and the flooding in certain areas but we are dry here. It’s easy to get on 395, a 1.5 mile beautiful walk to Del Ray, a 1.5 mile walk to Shirlington, and just 3 miles to old town.

I’m waiting for the #justinstrafficjam lady to post  :roll: I’m beginning to think it’s just to scare people away so Alexandria doesn’t become the next Arlington. [/quote]
