What say you?[/quote] We are trying to do takeout at least once a week and tip generously. I think the gift card idea is fine if you think of it as a donation. The chance of a restaurant surviving based on gift cards is low so they probably won't be around when it's time for you to use the gift card. More places (e.g., Boston) are trying to promote take out than gift cards.[/quote]
