But if OP is able to put aside those material concerns and focus on her dad's happiness and not worry about whether or not she will receive an inheritance, that is very healthy. And it seems like that is where OP is right now. She wants to focus on her dad's happiness, not on his estate planning. If she is ok with not getting his money and instead is focusing on his happiness, that's a good attitude.[/quote]
