Nope. Have you read that article about the Sarah Lawrence students being abused and manipulated by a con man? The story is unreal. The parents can't do a thing after 18.

I remember that case, and it's insane.  I had two female roommates in college (I'm also female) and if one of them had asked for their DAD to sleep in our room I'd have said no. And if they or the dad insisted I'd have gone to the RA, then the RD, then the dean, then police.  WTF kind of college-age girl would agree to this? [/quote]

At Sarah Lawrence, in 99% of cases, only freshmen share rooms.  Sophomores through juniors have singles.  It's a tiny, expensive private.
