Look, as an NPS parent and someone who has been involved in school life in the past, I can vouch for the nurturing environment. It's real, and it is what the teachers do very well across the board. The socio-emotional support my children have received over the years has been so treasured by our family. This sounds like an off day, and I know that the Zoom meetings are new this year. Zoom admissions are just a crapshoot in general, I am sure, because Zoom interviews with ADULTS have been garbage for me at my own workplace. I do not think it is likely that it was the K teachers on a Saturday, but who knows.
Prospective parent - it was in fact Kindergarten teachers. However, I took the zoom with a grain of salt. I didntcoach my kid and I let her be herself. Although, she was quite dry and shy because she’s meeting them for the first time. The zoom really didn’t show her verbal capabilities or academic capabilities. However, it is what it is and I’m a firm believer of what for you is for you. However, the whole zoom thing, in my opinion, will not be a good indicator for some kids.
