It's January and the school year runs until June (unless they extend it, like they've been talking about).  And you're ready to throw in the towel?  (Okay, I am ready to throw in the towel too.  But our sad household will revive if our kids are able to return to the building.)[/quote]

Nobody with the position and power to do so has talked about extending the school year. There are contracts , it can’t be done. They COULD use CARES or state funding to open up summer school enrollment to any student who wants it instead of the typical allotment only allowed to students who need credit recovery. But they cannot just extend the school year when staff contracts end on the date they end. [/quote]
