But during that time of increase, they cut their pollution monitoring budget from $578 million to $374 million. The problem is, they wouldn't be poisoning only themselves for fun and profit. Air and water pollution doesn't stop at their borders. I can't imagine what they'd dump into the Gulf of Mexico and pump into the air, but I can imagine that they would invite all the worst industries in with promises of no regulations, along with importing toxic waste to incinerate and bury. And new nuke plants? Hell, yes. Houston is already the armpit of America. These yahoos would turn Texas into a toxic wasteland.[/quote]
