But as to the +1 button itself, count me firmly in the NO WAY camp. I use my gmail professionally, and my user name is firstname.lastname. I am always logged in. As entertaining as bouquet snatching, dirty dice and She Who Must Not Be Named have been, they are not worth making an utter, public ass of myself by accidentally clicking the time bomb lurking at the bottom of DCUM's salacious topic of the week. Because let's face it -- Murphy's Law says that I'm going to click +1 on the latest discussion of bedroom techniques, not the mundane roll call of kids' Halloween costumes. I'm gone until/unless the button goes away.

Btw, remind your Google overlords that the general readership here is not of an age that wants/needs to share its every thought, opinion or adventure with the wider world. This may appeal to those young whippersnappers, but it's not really part of our psychographic makeup.[/quote]
