This really sounds like you did not learn much from cheating - like, “they are young, no big deal.”  Lots of 20 somethings are married.  In OP’s case, they are in a committed relationship and he crossed the line.  That’s really all that matters.[/quote]

What was there to learn? I was young and didn't want to be in a committed relationship yet, before I knew just what I wanted. Later married him and have been married--without cheating--for 22 years. Young 20s, not married or engaged and unsure--play the field and live it up. Seriously.[/quote]
