This is an outdated perspective or people with different interests. We took 4 kids 10 and under to Maui in 2016 and it was fantastic. Plenty to do and see. Took my kids to Big Island at 10 and 12 in 2018,  another great trip. [/quote]

I don’t understand all the hate for Maui. We have gone multiple times when our kids were at various ages. We’ve gone horseback riding, zip lining, hiking, biking, snorkeling, gone to the aquarium, plus all of the beach and pool activities. Even at the beach they’ve gone parasailing, rented jet skis, banana boats, etc. [/quote]

Literally all things you can do in Myrtle Beach. Besides the road to Hana and the lava fields you could basically be at any beach in the US. Plus no mammals but freaking chickens everywhere and a few goats. [/quote]
