It just depends on what you want and what makes sense for the style of your home. If you live in a home with higher end finishes in the bathrooms or nice built-ins elsewhere I don’t think it matters as much. If you want a showpiece kitchen you will pay. I have custom cabinets - FIL is a cabinetmaker - but had he not been I’d go with idea and upgraded fronts. [/quote]
