It's especially apparent now that all parents can see what their children are learning in class and many are rightfully concerned that they wasted their time applying to a program that is a name only. AAP is a joke, not only is the curriculum not for gifted kids (I hate that term btw), it's not even "advanced" in any sense or form. FCPS is a sham and they should be held accountable for what they say vs what they teach. If the only reason to be in AAP is to get away from disruptive kids, not only is it sad, it's a waste of a program.[/quote]
