Good advice on another prep thread that worked like a charm for me and cleaned me out with no crampy pain! I had a colonoscopy 8 years ago and recall a laxative prep followed by a nasty drink (cannot recall). Laxative gave me cramps in addition to the swift cleanout. But according to Dr I was not fully cleaned out then but apparently almost good enough. This time I reluctantly chose the Suprep instead of 2-day Magnesium Citrate fast. I ate very little before the fast day and during fast day I drank Gatorade and chicken broth before I started. I also drank more Gatorade during the cleanse process and some water to stay very hydrated. People... Forget the Crystal Lite the TRICK is to NOT TASTE the Suprep!! Chill the water, mix and drink it slowly through a straw but AT THE BACK OF YOUR MOUTH bypassing most of your taste buds. I drank about 5 gulps at a time, sometimes with a sip or 2 of cold water (but I wasn't supposed to dilute, oops). Then i would walk around a few minutes and take 5 more gulps. Took about 20 minutes to finish the swill but it caused no stomach upset, no cramps, just a slight gas pain and bloated gurgly feeling. Another trick... I chewed my son's gumballs (white, no dyes), every time I finished a third of liquid. I was remarkably effective at nullifying and sweetening the bad taste in my mouth!! Remember to bypass those front taste buds via straw and gulp slowly! Happy cleansing!
