Yep. I’ve been a supporter of reopening this whole time, but if we’re given a hybrid option, we’ll decline. My kid is at a camp that will not offer part time. So given the choice of part-time school and sucking at my job vs. full-time camp, I’ll take camp. It’s better for my kid and for my family’s finances. [/quote]

Yep. A daycare that has expanded to offer care for older kids. They facilitate the kids’ online classes. There are tons of these throughout the city. [/quote]

Pretty sure if lots of schools go hybrid these camps will start offering three days a week plans.

Our camp has specifically said it won’t offer part time because it is set up to have groups of kids not mix with others. So it won’t offer part-time if schools go hybrid, which means we won’t elect hybrid and will choose all virtual so my kid can keep going to camp. We need the supervisor so we can work.

But generally I agree. All these pods and cohorts are BS. Kids should have (and could have) been in school safely this whole time. [/quote]
