I went with a Zwilling Madura that was about $50 (at the time for the 12") with the expectation that I would have to replace it in about 2 years with regular use. I feel like that was a good value. I always handwash it, but the rest of the family is not as observant, so I also wanted something that would go in the dishwasher. I tried to do all stainless, but after too many burned things I had to scrub off I wanted a nonstick option.[/quote]
