It’s a bit easier to get insurance coverage but still parents are saddled with a lot of bills. With these sorts of programs, you don’t need a step down- they are designed for a home discharge maybe with an IOP, which is typically covered by insurance. But even these are extreme options, not something most kids need. Getting payment for mental health services, no matter what they are, is really tough. [/quote]
