North Carolina here. I, I don't know what to tell you. We kept our Democratic governor but brought in an anti-Semitic avowed homophobe as our lieutenant governor. Looked like we were going to flip the senate but then got cold feet over the lamest text affair ever. And then this guy. Though to be honest his democratic challenger seems to have had a somewhat nasty online persona? I mean, the dem wasn't a nazi and didn't commit sexual assault, but I guess handsome white republican boys in wheelchairs have a lot of appeal? And of course it looks like Trump won here.

All I can gather is that some of our Republican voters are well educated enough to understand that our Democratic governor was the only thing standing between them and the full on covid shit show happening in other states. It's not great here, but it would be much worse without the mask mandate and other restrictions.

He was home schooled and went to college for one semester before his accident.  He received mostly "D's"   Several women at his former college claim he sexually assaulted them.
