This is true. I wonder why they made Grace so rich in the tv show. In the book, she is "upper middle class for Manhattan" and kind of struggling among the financial and media titans she associates with.

Haven't read the books but as a frequenter of Long Island and other East Coast beaches, the first thing I said when I saw that beach was "that is not the East Coast" looks more like a West Coast beach. I am surprised they did that considering they filmed all over the Upper East Side[/quote]
