The topper though happened to my sister.  Her MIL was hosting her 4th grade daughter for her annual summer visit with grandma.  This was the first year that my niece began to look like a pre-teen, and grandma was shocked.  Her solution was to help her church to set up a week-long revival for my sister's child, culminating in "saving" her on the last day.

My sister and niece are Catholic, BIL is non-practicing Christian and MIL is a small sect of Missionary Baptist.

My sister found out about this when they picked up their daughter and she asked them to purchase her a Bible.  My sister said that they had several, take her pick.  Her daughter then rolled her eyes and said "I mean a REAL Bible.  You wouldn't understand"  She then proceded to explain to mom how since she wasn't saved she was going to hell, her church was the spawn of Satin and many other wonderfully inspiring words.  Needless to say my niece is no longer allowed to go to church with Grandma, nor does she spend unsupervised visits with her any longer.[/quote]
