Here’s a little science, so you can make jokes that don’t out you as a moron: Water can be used as a fuel source. And fuel sources in space are important things. Water can be electrically separated into its component elements of hydrogen and oxygen, which can then be recombined to produce heat energy, which yields heat, propulsion and electricity, depending on the use of the fuel. All are important things to have in space, for obvious reasons. And the by product of such combustion is ...... water. So that’s why water on the moon is important. Because it makes going from the moon to other places a lot more feasible than it would be if we had to rely on only on fuels brought from earth. Now, go forth and dumb no more.
