That was me! And I stand by it.

Of course they can and should be able to happily spend some time together. But months and months of spending more time with parents than with friends or peers at a stage when they’re trying to develop a sense of self separate from their parents? If that’s working for you, then great, but stop trying to shame people who are having a tough time dealing with normal teen behavior that suddenly has no outlet.[/quote]
