FWIW, compensation has become quite skewed in this country.  Wages have not kept pace with the cost of living over the last three decades.  Just because you or your DH have jobs that have not yet been hit, don't assume you are immune from the various economic bubbles.  Ask the RIFed lawyers around town.  [/quote]
