This is where the "holistic review" comes in.  Someone in the admission committee will make sure that these URM kids will get in the lottery pool and have a better chance of being selected.  They never fully explain whether in the lottery is really random.[/quote]

So you mean they aren't going to bring out one of those gigantic lottery wheels and hire Vanna White pull numbers out of it randomly.  Wonder if they would live stream the drawing like PowerBall.[/quote]
