This is the correct answer, and is what main conclusion was the last time this troll thread was started
. Sure.
Men prefer thinner women (there are almost no truly thin women left in the U.S. so the claims of PPs about "stick figures" is moot).
Please provide support for the statement "almost no truly thin women left in the U.s.". I visit my local Sport&Health four mornings a week and see truly thin women there every morning. Maybe you are just blowing this stuff out of your ear (or from lower down)?
The high status males pick off the thinner females, who happen to run in their social circles anyway due to socioeconomic correlation with body mass index.
Please define "high status males." The term "status" does not mean the same thing to every reader. How do you know what social circles thin women tend to "run in"?
This leaves only higher BMI women left for lower status males, who also happen to have more high BMI women in their social circles due to the same correlation.
Really? BMI and appearing fat are not completely correlated for a number of reasons. To wit: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2877506/. This is a cite to an article found in US National Library of Medicine and the article notes: Body mass index (BMI) is the most widely used measure to diagnose obesity. However, the diagnostic accuracy of BMI to detect excess in body adiposity is largely unknown. Science, my dear friends. It helps us all (even trolls.)
