You also should not scold the dog for growling. It is their way of communication and telling you they don’t like some thing. He is giving you a warning that he does not like to be picked up so that needs to be respected. Take him to the vet and find doubt if something is wrong with him. But remember that little kids have smaller hands and they might not be as gentle. He might be holding him in a way that makes him hurt or he may just not feel safe.[/quote]
