[/quote] Just from listening to his podcast on and off for a couple years, it seems like he has a very weak sense of self. When someone comes on that will talk about partying hard, he loves to go there and has to talk about how "bad" he was before sobriety. It's clear he still feels like that "bad" boy was the cool one. I imagine, on top of the physiological aspects of addition, this is one of the main things holding him back. (And when he has guests that clearly don't give a shit if he drank his face off or never drank, he gets a little lost.) [/quote]
