Everyone is turned off by the announcement idea, but maybe the OP just used the wrong term. OP you could use the announcement services to get Dds picture on it and use the verbiage in th pp post. Something like "greetings from DD on her first birthday. We can't believe it's been a year already" would sound totally appropriate on an announcement and not sound like gift grabbing at all. IMHO seems the same as sending a picture but a little more formal. I am sorry for your tough year. [/quote]
