Cemeteries were actually used as parks and places for enjoyment in the past. It is just our fear of death and inability to consider our own mortality that has made them "creepy". They are nice. Go enjoy![/quote]

Agree. We picnicked a bunch at my grandparents plot this year. We don’t have a yard and the cemetery is within walking distance. It was nice to be somewhere kind of quiet and where dogs aren’t allowed on the grass. You don’t even have to consciously distance because they’re not that many people there (above ground). [/quote]

When I die, I'd be so happy to have the living, living around me! It is a lovely way to remember them and normalize death for your kids. We make so many problems for ourselves by pretending it doesn't happen. [/quote]
