Honestly I’m feeling like some one the activity focused parents are not seeing that it isn’t organized activities OR watching Screens and being lazy. And it’s not letting them quit everything as soon as they fight. We too make them finish what they started and as I mentioned, we watch very very little tv/games in our house. We model behavior too (we don’t watch TV hardly at all, I play an instrument and am very into another hobby, and my husband has two hobbies he’s very into and runs every day). But if I’m honest, neither one of us are organized activity people as adults. All the things we’ve chosen are very much more free form. So maybe we’re actually missing not being scheduled all the time but still doing a lot of activity and the kids are wanting that too 😂[/quote]
