I do think there is *maybe* a segment of the female population who go into nursing as it is a typically female profession that may also coincide with young marriage and childbirth. In that case, a 30-something Rumspringa isn't surprising. It's a profession you can start in fairly young with limited education, and has been historically more accessible as a legit career path to LMC/MC women than pursuing an MD.
