I've been very surprised by my daughter's growth over the past 15 months. She was 20 inches and 7 pounds at birth, which is very average...But her growth was so rapid that I was surprised when she dropped into the 80th percentile (albeit the high 80s) at 15 months and it makes me wonder if her growth will start to slow some. Did anyone else's child start out in the 90th percentile for the first 12 months and then sort of drop down the chart a bit? Also, not sure if it's meaningful but her head has always been in the 30th percentile (doctor assured us that this is normal). I just find the discrepancy between her head and height percentiles so interesting. Did anyone else find that was the case for their children? Was that meaningful? Sorry for the tangent! [/quote]
