There are liberals who do not believe that unions are appropriate for public employees like teachers and police officers. We are not seeing negative effects.  We are seeing positive effects.  The union is there to protect and promote the teachers, their health, safety and literal lives, since so many selfish parents don't give a damn if the teachers get sick or even die, because in their minds, we'll just bring in the multitudes of 20-somethings qualified to teach who are just chomping at the bit to be closed into poorly ventilated petri dishes for 7 hours a day during a pandemic.  Pathetic and disgraceful.[/quote]
