But this also means the "test optional" is NOT really "optional" because "kids who got good scores pre-covid" will be preferred by those "test optional" colleges over kids who have no scores to submit. Then everyone will try to get a test score because no one wants to be at a disadvantage, so no one has the option but to take a test.[/quote]
