We are so lucky to have a former teacher as our nanny. We have enough outdoor space as well as indoor play areas. My rising kindergartener and preschooler are doing fine at home - learning at a fast pace and enjoying it. I could send them both back to school but why? I feel like I should leave those spots for kids with parents who desperately need the childcare. Am I right?
School is for education. Maybe YOUR nanny is able to provide adequate education to your children because she is a former teacher--but there are many children who do not have former teachers as their nannies and they deserve an education.
