The current plan for secondary DL has 4 blocks a day. It is just not done well in MCPS which is why most schools did hybrid-block or modified block before. Those schools usually had 7 periods three days a week and block just two. Block sounds like it worked for you, but it doesn’t work well for most 11-15 year olds.[/quote] DC attended TPMS, which is on a block schedule. Block is very good in MS, IME. Fewer transitions, more time to work in class, easier to manage homework. [/quote]
