There will be thousands of kids who won’t have parents available to bring them snacks during the day and monitor their online progress. They will disengage and continue to fall further behind their peers, not to mention the kids who are fortunate enough to attend private schools or schools in other countries. Some of them will never catch up academically as a result. We all know this, and implying it’s the equivalent of a hard snow that kept the kids from attending their one-room schoolhouse in Nebraska for a few weeks in 1870 won’t change the harsh reality.[/quote]
